I’m Wendy Edem Ahadome, a frontend engineer at Huvacliq Technologies, where I work in React, Next.js and TypeScript. I build fast, accessible interfaces, and I take on website projects for service businesses alongside the day job. I work in GMT+0, which covers the full UK and EU working day and most of a US East Coast morning.
Most of what I know about performance I learned the hard way. Building for a market where bandwidth is expensive and power is not guaranteed changes what “done” means: a page that only works on a good connection isn’t finished. That constraint has made me a better engineer everywhere else.
Frontend Engineer — Huvacliq Technologies
Interactive, responsive applications in Next.js, React and WordPress. Cut load times 40% through asset optimisation and lazy loading. Built custom APIs and authentication, and CMS integrations that keep content updating without a developer in the loop.
Frontend Engineer Intern — Stutern
Built landing, auth, blog and dashboard UI from a documented Figma library. Authentication work on a loan app that cut login errors 30%, plus API integrations. Engagement improved 40%.
WordPress Designer Intern — Huvacliq Technologies
Custom themes and plugins, SEO and site-speed work, and ongoing maintenance.
Built with Next.js and deployed on Vercel. Type is Figtree and JetBrains Mono, self-hosted and subset to latin. The colour system is five tokens carrying the myagwen brand kit; every shade you see is opacity applied to one of them, and teal is the only accent. No analytics that follow you, no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

Shipping a design-system refresh at Huvacliq, writing an offline-first component kit for low-bandwidth apps, and slowly reading Refactoring UI. Open to interesting frontend work in either direction — a role on a team, or a website project for a service business — with capacity from October.
