Problem

Photographers struggle to showcase their work professionally, and social media compresses images, reducing quality.

Approach

A photography site has one job that every other concern is subordinate to: show the photograph. That sounds obvious until you count how many portfolio templates put a full-screen navigation overlay in front of it.

So the gallery loads progressively — a low-weight placeholder resolves into the full image — and nothing animates over the top of a photograph once it has arrived.
